Verified state

A ping was never enough.

A ping says a device answers. It doesn’t say the input changed, the clock is flapping, or the DSP froze with its network stack still smiling.

So Vera keeps two states for every device: what you set, and what the device reports. It checks them against each other, forever. Every finding is claim, observation, proof.

And when a device stops answering its checks, Vera says so. Instead of guessing.

Local-first

The room can’t depend on the cloud.

So Vera is a box in your rack. Monitoring runs on it. State lives on it. Alerts leave from it. If the internet drops, Vera keeps watching.

No specialist programmer.
