Privacy Policy

How we handle information collected through this website.

Last updated: August 2026

This site is operated by Harris Ventures Innovations, LLC, the company behind Vera (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you visit this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, company, and email address you enter, along with the time of your submission, so we can respond — or, if you asked to be kept posted, so we can send you occasional updates.

Usage data. We record basic analytics — pages viewed, interactions such as button clicks and form submissions, timestamps, referring source, campaign parameters, a random session identifier, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string — to understand how the site is used and to protect it from abuse. The session identifier and campaign details are stored in your browser’s local storage and accompany these records. Pages with the contact form load our bot-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile), which checks your browser to tell people from bots.

Cookies. Our customer-relationship platform (HubSpot) sets analytics cookies that recognize your browser across visits to this site. If you submit the contact form, your visit history on this site is connected to your contact record so we can understand what you were interested in. You can set your browser to block these cookies — the site works fine without them. Deleting cookies clears past ones but does not prevent new ones on a later visit; blocking does. Details on the specific cookies are in HubSpot’s cookie documentation. This site is available in the United States.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, to send updates you asked for, to operate, improve, and protect the site, and to understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site and manage inquiries — our hosting/network provider, the workflow service we run to route submissions and analytics, and the customer-relationship platform where contact submissions are stored — and where required by law.

Retention & security

Analytics records we hold are kept for 14 days; our hosting and customer-relationship providers retain the data they process under their own published policies. Contact submissions are kept in our customer-relationship platform while we manage your inquiry or subscription, and as the law requires. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect all of it.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of the information you’ve provided by emailing us — we may need to verify your identity, and we may retain what the law requires us to keep. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any email we send (or by emailing us), and you can configure your browser to block cookies and clear existing cookies and local storage whenever you like.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
